Last updated: February 8, 2026
1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TeamToast.ai ("the Service"), operated by Open Growth Group INC ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
TeamToast is an employee recognition platform that integrates with Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Chat. It allows teams to send toasts, grant awards, earn points, redeem gifts, and track recognition through leaderboards and a public toast wall. The Service is free for workspaces with up to 25 users and available on paid plans for larger teams.
3. Account Terms
You register for the Service by authenticating through Slack OAuth, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, or email registration. By connecting your workspace, the workspace administrator grants us permission to access certain workspace data as described in Section 4.
- You must be authorized to act on behalf of your workspace to connect it to TeamToast.
- Workspace administrators are responsible for managing user access and roles within TeamToast.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account used to authenticate with the Service.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Chat Platform Integrations
TeamToast connects to your chat platform (Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Google Chat). When you install TeamToast, you grant us permission to:
- Read basic workspace or tenant information (name, domain).
- Read user profiles (name, email, avatar).
- Read channel or space information.
- Post messages on behalf of the TeamToast bot.
- Respond to commands and interactive actions.
You can revoke TeamToast's access at any time through your chat platform's workspace or admin settings. Revoking access will prevent the Service from functioning for your workspace.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, bully, or send abusive or offensive content to other users.
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or use the platform for purposes unrelated to employee recognition.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Payment & Billing
TeamToast offers the following pricing tiers:
- Free: Up to 25 users, free forever, all features included.
- Growth: 26–50 users, $1 per user/month (or $10/user/year billed annually).
- Scale: 51+ users, $3 per user/month (or $30/user/year billed annually).
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Open Growth Group INC. All rights are reserved.
You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service (toast messages, award descriptions, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to operate the Service.
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
When you visit our website, we display a cookie consent banner that allows you to choose which cookies to accept. Essential cookies required for the Service to function are always active. You may optionally enable functional cookies (for UI preferences such as sidebar layout) and analytics cookies (for product analytics via PostHog and Google Analytics). You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in our website footer.
9. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Open Growth Group INC's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the use of the Service at any time. You may disconnect your workspace and stop using the Service. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, we will delete your workspace data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
